A Monday Pause ~ Waiting in Hope

Heavenly Father, we lay our hopes and dreams at Your feet.
Sometimes the wait seems long and we confess that we
find ourselves wondering if You’ve forgotten us.
Your Word and Your Spirit remind us You have NOT.
Forgive us for all the times we doubt and become discouraged.
Strengthen our resolve to wait patiently and
help us stay focused on You.
Thank You for being faithful to Your promises.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

    The waiting patiently and staying focused is always a struggle. This prayer spoke to my heart. Thank you for this prayer. To walk worthy in His Will is my prayer. May God continue to bless you and keep you is my prayer for you, Susan.

    Yes, the waiting is surely not easy. Especially in situations that we just don’t understand. Oh for grace to trust Him more!

      Thanks, Anna! I hope you enjoy your sabbatical, and have a great time visiting with your dad. How great that he’s in good health and can enjoy spending time together. I sure hope you’re staying up where it’s cool. Don’t wander down in the valley 8-)

        Thanks Susan! We live about 2 hours northwest of Phoenix and it is generally 10-15 degrees cooler up here. That’s a good thing because even when Phx is having temps up around 115 (like this week), we stay at a “balmy” 100 or so. :D

      You’ve been off having fun with the family and needed an online sabbatical! Of course, Sarah would get on here and scream, “WHY DO YOU HATE ME??” LOL :D
      I’m just relieved they let you out of prison. That was scary.
