Heavenly Father, we lay our hopes and dreams at Your feet.
Sometimes the wait seems long and we confess that we
find ourselves wondering if You’ve forgotten us.
Your Word and Your Spirit remind us You have NOT.
Forgive us for all the times we doubt and become discouraged.
Strengthen our resolve to wait patiently and
help us stay focused on You.
Thank You for being faithful to Your promises.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

The waiting patiently and staying focused is always a struggle. This prayer spoke to my heart. Thank you for this prayer. To walk worthy in His Will is my prayer. May God continue to bless you and keep you is my prayer for you, Susan.
So glad you stopped by this morning, Rhonda, and thanks for lifting me up!
Beautiful post, Susan. Stunning photography too!
Yes, the waiting is surely not easy. Especially in situations that we just don’t understand. Oh for grace to trust Him more!
Love you!
So true, Kristi. And the older I get, the fewer situations I understand! Love you too
Oh Susan, I think you and Nan have been in conversation lately! This is the same thing she’s been teaching me over the last few months. Love you!
LOL I’d love to see Nan sometime, AND you!! Thanks for commenting, Jamie. You’re going in my journal again, but you know you stay in my prayers. Love you
This is a beautiful prayer Susan,
Thank you – Love you, Hester
Hugs from VA to you, sweet Hester
Just wanted to say Good Morning Susan! Thank you for starting our day with such a wonderful prayer. Blessings on your Monday… Anna
Thanks, Anna! I hope you enjoy your sabbatical, and have a great time visiting with your dad. How great that he’s in good health and can enjoy spending time together. I sure hope you’re staying up where it’s cool. Don’t wander down in the valley
Thanks Susan! We live about 2 hours northwest of Phoenix and it is generally 10-15 degrees cooler up here. That’s a good thing because even when Phx is having temps up around 115 (like this week), we stay at a “balmy” 100 or so.
For me, the first issue is making sure I’m waiting for something in line with His will! Thanks for the encouragement this morning.
I’m with you, Kirsten. Sometimes I miss what He’s doing because I’m waiting for something else! Thanks for stopping by today
I am waaaaay behind on my Susan blogs!!! Love this prayer for my own ‘waiting’ room!!
You’ve been off having fun with the family and needed an online sabbatical! Of course, Sarah would get on here and scream, “WHY DO YOU HATE ME??” LOL
I’m just relieved they let you out of prison. That was scary.
Beautiful, Susan. Waiting is never easy.
How can I pray for you this week?
Thanks, Cathy! I’m working on a writing assignment for my church and have to write around a really random verse. I’d love you to pray that I will hear His message and communicate it effectively. Thank you!!
Praying now!
Just prayed for you as well, Susan. I know God has something special for you to say. I pray He gives it to you clearly!
Thanks, Vonda. You’re the best
Beautiful picture, and reminder to wait on the Lord. Thank you for your gift of prayer. ~Di
No request – just a thank you for sharing the verse. I’ve been writing a lot about waiting lately for some future publications. It’s always an encouragement to read what you share from your heart
Thanks, Jodi – I’m praying for you anyway
Hope you’re having a fun summer with your cute boys. And I hope you’re finding some productive time to write!
Susan – I am sharing this with several of my girlfriends who have become too familiar with living in the wilderness right now. What an encouraging post! Thanks!!! Hope all is well!
Jeannette
Thanks, Jeannette. I’m honored that you’d share this with your friends. I’m lifting them up and praying for them to persevere. I’m pretty sure God uses you to encourage them, so I’m praying for you too
Pray for hand surgery to go well,Susan.
Adding you to my prayer list and lifting you up, Judy!
