It’s been another busy week at Casa de Stilwell and another short post. Today I’m headed north to Harrisonburg!
James Madison University is situated in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The drive along Interstate 81 is gorgeous and I never complain about it.

Funny story:
When the kids were growing up, we had a rule of ‘no food in your rooms’! So I was taking laundry into Bret’s room and he was laying in bed watching TV. His TV was on the dresser and I opened the drawer to put his laundry away and just stared at him….I said, “Really, Bret?” He just looked at me….so I repeated myself. He had no clue to what I was talking about so I told him to come look……He had forgotten that he had a BOWL OF SOUP cooling in his drawer!!!!
We laugh NOW…but I wasn’t laughing then (at least he didn’t SEE me laughing!!,)
SOUP? Yeah, only a guy would do that. We had similar rules in our house. Which were ignored…
