Happy Friday! I can hardly believe it, but I’m actually HOME today! After weeks of keeping I-81 hot, the family is home and enjoying one last weekend together.
Scott is entering his senior year at VT, and Sarah is a junior at JMU. They’re headed back this weekend, so please breathe a prayer for them as they start their heavy course loads.

OF COURSE Clayzmama is back again this week. Her post on Kooky Cucumbers is fabulous, as is all the rest of her content!
I told her that I’m going to rename my Friday theme to,
“My Favorite Clayzmama Post Of The Week, plus some other stuff”
If you’re not following her yet, you SHOULD.

Thanks for the link up, Susan. I’m honored to be part of your Friday Favorites!
Enjoy your last week with your family!!!
I look forward to checking out all the links. I can relate all too well to the summer body lament. Sigh. Fall, however, is my favorite season so I’m shooting for a healthier body, especially since the hubster bought me new pair of hiking boots! Praying for Scott and Sarah.
Your Friday Favorites always a delight! Sandi always makes me smile…and hopefully get smarter. And oh. my. I relate most to not getting my beach body this summer. Yes, maybe next year!
YOU are one of my favorites!! Have fun with Scott and Sarah. You all are in my prayers!!
I love you!
Ha!! Thanks, Susan!!
Your Friday Favorites are MY favorites (not because of me) so I can learn about new blogs!! I can’t wait to check all these out!
OH……I LOVE the “beach body” comment!! I saw one yesterday that said, “Sometimes I feel like a million bucks, and other days I feel like a Food Stamp.” HA!!!!
Thanks for promoting me, my friend!!
Thank-you, Susan for sharing your Friday favorites! I especially appreciated the 6-steps to more peace-of-mind… focusing more on preparing for the marathon instead of sprinting my way through life. God has brought me to a place right now where I have no choice but to breathe deeply, relax, and take the time to be reflective and enjoy life. Most would say I’m one lucky duck (and I am), but I say, when hustle and bustle is the norm, adjusting to a more laid back lifestyle can have it’s challenges too. Kim reminded me today about just what happens when I spread myself too thin… I don’t want to go down that road again.
Have a blessed weekend, friend!
Marisa
Oh Susan, I needed Kim’s post on feeling overwhelmed! Thanks so much! Enjoy your time with your kiddos!
Nice new blogs to check out, and I must lament with you. The beach body in time for summer was a bust for me, too. Blessings for a great week, and your post will be live very soon. I’m trying to get caught up!
Love the Friday Favs. I am looking forward to checking them out! Prayers for your family!
Thanks for stopping by, everybody! I love sharing great links and fun content!!
