Summer is the perfect time to travel. Whether it’s vacation, family get-togethers, or just a quick shopping trip, travel represents adventure. But after time on the road, there’s something comforting about familiar surroundings. There really is nothing like coming home.

I think God designed each of us with a specific “coming home” feeling. I feel it in the mountains. I have friends who find it in the desert, and others who find it at the beach. It’s as if God wired us to respond to certain places, and everything inside us relaxes as soon as we get there.

LaTan Murphy

And relaxing is something I’ve been TRYING to do the past couple of weeks! Many of you know that my son was in an accident last month, and so I’ve taken some time away from social media. And that includes my site. But my sweet friends have stayed after me to write, and one of them is featuring me today.

Won’t you join me at La-Tan Murphy’s site for the rest of the story?

Don't you HATE pop-ups?

I do too, but you know what I hate more?

Missing great info.

I'm not one of those people who spam your inbox every day. That's not my style. I blog ONE time a month and send out ONE newsletter a month. And I work hard to make sure the stuff I send you is HELPFUL.

Don't miss out. Go ahead and subscribe.

If you decide to unsubscribe later, I promise -- no hard feelings.

Voila - you're IN!
