A Monday Pause ~ Lord’s Prayer

Daily Bread Matt 6

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

The Lord’s Prayer is familiar to most of us, and
it’s the focus of Mary DeMuth’s new book,
The Wall Around Your Heart: How Jesus Heals You When Others Hurt You

It releases TOMORROW and I’m honored to be a part of her launch team! In the coming weeks I’ll be sharing some insights from the book, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, I’m digging out from my trip to Guatemala and appreciate your prayers as I rest and regroup. More to come from that experience too!

How can I pray for YOU this week?

  1. Welcome home, sweet friend. Praying for you as you unwind from your trip. :)

One simple prayer for me: Help me to follow well.

    Love you!

  2. How about if we pray for you! Believe me I know how reentry affects you and I’m praying for you as you rest, regroup, and restore.

  3. Praying that you get the rest you need after your trip Susan. I had a challenging week but so thankful for an extra day off from work for Columbus Day. Those are the benefits of working in a school. :)

Please pray that I would persist in what God has called me to do. I get so easily distracted by ‘good things’ and things other people think I should be doing. I want to be where God has me and spend my time doing His will.

    Thank you.

    Blessings and love,

  4. Welcome home! I loved your pictures – most of them made me smile, several made me say wow. They made me appreciate just how blessed I am. I can’t wait to hear more about your trip. I agree with the comment above – let us pray for you as you recuperate!

  5. Welcome home and can’t wait to hear about the book and your trip! {HUGS} been praying for you, Alene, Dolly, the whole crew…

  6. I was thinking of all of you last week and look forward to hearing about your trip. I enjoyed the pictures on Instagram, Facebook, etc. Made me wish I was with all of you and has me anxious to return to Guatemala. I will continue to pray for you as I know it takes time to settle back in.

  7. Thank you ALL for your prayers! It’s my honor to pray for y’all as it takes my eyes off me. You’re all in the journal, so consider yourselves hugged!
